A very handy Alcatraz AR feature is saving information to your Contacts.
This feature allows you to replay through the standard iPhone Contacts app a quick video on tips, as well as a more lengthy video about booking instructions and a description of the actual tour itself.
You can call Alcatraz Cruises directly for recorded tour info, or email them for any questions you may have.
The vendor website can be accessed directly for booking.
All from the contact app that comes standard with your iPhone!

The Chinatown Map can be found on the wall of the Visitors Center in Chinatown.
The map is also printed on a brochure that is available on request.
Augmented Realty is used to identify each of the icons in the map along with a related web page of information when an icons is selected.

As you scan the painting a title pops up above various icons.
Selecting any of the titles results in a related website sliding in from the right.
